Our principal, Kurz, has a history of innovation and invention – in 1930 Konrad Kurz revolutionised the gold leaf industry; while competitors were beating gold into paper-thin foil by hand, he invented a method to transfer gold to a carrier strip in a vacuum. This was a huge saving in cost and time, and vastly improved the quality and consistency of the finished product.

This was only the first invention; together with Kurz, we continue to monitor customer needs; our products keep pace with your industry developments.

Six full-time PhD scientists lead a team to research and improve our products, and create new ones. Kurtz has already won several patents and many more are pending.
