The Kurz Touchwood® Transfer Finish system enables you to give inexpensive wood and wood-veneer panels the appearance of quality timber.

It consists of thin layers of protective top lacquer, decorative and adhesion coats superimposed on a polyester carrier. During application, heat and pressure separates the finish from its carrier film and causes it to bond permanently with the surface material.

With Touchwood®, you can achieve a seamless transition between the panel face and edge.

Easy to use, only minimal training is required to operate the Touchwood® surfacing and edging machines.

There are a number of products in the Touchwood series, each designed to meet specific requirements:

Touchwood®
•   Suitable for MDF, veneers or wood

•   semi-transparent grained transfer finish particularly
    suitable for the upgrading of wood surfaces,

Touchclear™
•   An alternative to lacquering and staining
•   Highly abrasion- and scratch-resistant
•   Solvent free, so no need for expensive ventilation
    systems

Touchform®
A wood-effect finish suitable for the decoration of 3D parts, it will form a perfect wrap around strongly shaped products.

Touchwrap™
•   Ideal for surface lamination and wrapping
•   Higher moisture resistance than paper
•   Better print quality than vinyl finishes
•   Increased surface-resistance and colour consistency
•   Cost-effective in comparison with real wood veneer
•   Available in amazingly realistic design finishes like
    woods, marbles, lacquers and metallic.
